Welcome Message

Hey there, and allow me to extend a hearty welcome to Instant Fix PC!

I wanted to take a minute to tell you about this site, and a little bit about its founder…me! Launched in 2008, IFPC aims to become a one-stop resource to help you in optimizing and fixing Windows and other PC related problems you may come across. I’ve been working with PC’s on a full-time basis for ten years, and on a part-time basis well before that! Currently, I work for a very large news organization where I do a lot of things related to network security. And while my current 9-5 doesn’t have me troubleshooting Windows PC’s all that much, rest assured my 5-9 does! What do I mean by that? Well, let’s just say family and friends don’t feel shy about calling me up to help them with their computer problems! But that’s fine with me — comes with the territory I suppose!

So I thought that instead of reinventing the wheel every time I need to help a family member or friend with their computer problems, I would build this site and just have them look here for all the info and tools they need. And then I thought, “Hey, I may as well make this available to everyone in the world!”. So here I am. And there you are! And since you’re here, you may as well stay awhile! And if you ever need to get in contact with me, don’t hesitate to do so right here…
